Eligibility

• Citizen of the People's Republic of China
• applies for or is a current first-year full-fee-paying VU PhD or PhD (Integrated) student
• obtains in-principle supervisor support
• current first-year candidates have consumed enrolment deducted from the scholarship duration
• must subsequently meet CSC requirements

How to Apply

1. 1Submit a CSC scholarship expression of interest to VU with qualification documents, transcripts, research proposal, 200-word personal statement, CV and signed prospective-supervisor form. After VU selection and receipt of an offer, apply separately to the CSC.

Eligibility

• Eligible Indonesian applicant selected under the applicable Split-Site Masters Program
• completes the Indonesian-university component and meets admission and sponsorship conditions for the approved VU Master's pathway

Eligibility

• Applies from outside Australia
• is over 18 at course commencement
• meets entry requirements for Master of Applied Information Technology, Master of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Master of Construction Management or Master of Project Management
• selection is based on prior academic merit
• existing VU students and postgraduate applicants receiving advanced standing are ineligible
• security deposit and reservation and cleaning fees remain payable

1. 1Submit an application for an eligible VU Melbourne course. VU automatically assesses academic eligibility and emails successful applicants with instructions to confirm the scholarship. Places are awarded first-come-first-served until filled.

Eligibility

• Citizen of Vietnam
• holds a lecturer position at a Vietnamese university
• is nominated by Victoria University and the employing university for Project 89
• meets VU doctoral admission requirements

1. 1Follow Victoria University's graduate-research application process and obtain nomination from VU and the employing Vietnamese university for the Project 89 scholarship.

Eligibility

• New international student commencing eligible postgraduate coursework at VU Melbourne in 2026 or 2027
• meets course entry requirements
• English, VET and research courses are excluded
• sponsored students are ineligible
• first-year percentage is based on prior academic results, with specified exceptions including 30% for eligible onshore applicants entering a two-year postgraduate degree after completing an Australian undergraduate degree and for the Master of Construction Management or Master of Project Management
• continuation requires 96 credit points and WAM 50/70/80 for 10%/20%/30%

2. 2VU automatically assesses the scholarship and confirms it in the offer letter. Limited 30% places require early offer acceptance.

Eligibility

• International applicant commencing an eligible research Master's or PhD at VU
• pays full international tuition fees
• cannot combine the award with another tuition-fee scholarship
• advanced-candidature applicants remain eligible only when more than one year of study at VU remains
