1. 1Apply for an eligible Master's programme and complete the scholarship application through the University process. Published annual deadlines are 10 December for February entry, 30 April for July entry and 15 September for November Summer School entry.

Eligibility

• International student obtaining the first Master's qualification and undertaking a thesis-based Master's degree
• scholarship supports only the thesis component for up to one year full-time
• selection is based mainly on academic merit and research potential

• International student who is not a New Zealand or Australian citizen, permanent resident or resident-visa holder
• meets entry requirements for an eligible programme
• normally achieved at least a New Zealand B+ equivalent
• pays international tuition fees
• commences full-time study
