- Priority given to applicants with demonstrable financial challenge, projects resonating with the Stepping Stones initiative, or applying to programmes with more available places. Eligible academic scope: Irish World Academy of Music and Dance (all taught MA programmes).
How to Apply
- 1Indicate 'Stepping Stones scholarship' as a funding source on the programme application
- 2after receiving a programme offer, submit a personal letter and a supporting referee letter to the course director, who forwards these with a letter of support to the Academy for review

University ScholarshipA scholarship fund targeting international (non-EU) students on any taught MA programme at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance who have a demonstrable record in performance and/or academic specialisation relevant to their programme.
Eligibility
- Demonstrable record in performance and/or academic specialisation relevant to the programme
- priority given to applicants with financial need, from underrepresented parts of the world at the Academy, with projects resonating with the Stepping Stones initiative, or applying to programmes with more available places. Eligible academic scope: Irish World Academy of Music and Dance (all taught MA programmes).

UL Progression Scholarship
University ScholarshipAwards EU fee status to non-EU fee-paying UL students progressing from a 4-year UL Bachelor's degree to a UL Master's programme. NOTE: this requires a prior UL Bachelor's degree - not accessible to a first-time international applicant entering from outside the university.
Eligibility
- Must have successfully completed a 4-year non-EU fee-paying Bachelor's degree at UL prior to receiving a Master's offer at UL
- not available for MSc Sustainable Resource Management, Policy and Practice. Eligible academic scope: Any Master's discipline (cross-faculty), except MSc Sustainable Resource Management, Policy and Practice.
